Whether it’s your time, talents, or treasure – there are many ways to support individuals and families served by Lutheran Social Services of Illinois (LSSI)! In-kind giving often utilizes a combination of time, talent, and treasure and we are so grateful for your contributions.
Many of our programs do accept donations of new in-kind items, such as gift-cards, school supplies, hygiene kits, winter gear, and Christmas gifts. While we love to receive the support in this manner, our needs are often evolving depending on the time of year and client needs. To keep up with this demand, we have a website that allows for supporters to see location specific needs in real time.
LSSI’s Mindful Giving page syncs with Amazon and shows the active gift-list for program needs. Gift-lists are sorted by program type and location. Items on the list are tax-exempt and offer free shipping, if available. Once a purchase is made, the item(s) are shipped directly to the program.
