Why Donate Through Your DAF?

Donating from your Donor-Advised Fund (DAF) is a smart and impactful way to give to Lutheran Social Services of Illinois (LSSI). Here are several reasons why it’s beneficial to grant from your DAF today:

How To Donate to LSSI Through Your DAF

Donating from your Donor-Advised Funds is safe, easy, and fast. Use the form on this page and follow these steps: 

  1. Select the DAF provider and login directly to your account. 
  2. Check your DAF account balance and enter your desired gift amount. 
  3. Share your personal information (i.e. email and address) for your receipt records. 
  4. Select if you would like to cover the processing fee, as well as leave an optional note. 
  5. Hit submit and your grant donation request is complete!  

Upon making a donation, you can elect to receive an automatic grant request confirmation that will be sent to the email address you provided. If you choose to donate from your DAF by contacting your provider without using the provided form or your provider has a stand-alone form, you will need LSSI’s tax ID#: 36-2584799.
