School-Based Counseling

Does your child or teen need extra emotional support in school? Maybe they’re dealing with bullying, issues at home and in the family, or struggling with mental health symptoms. Or maybe you’ve noticed a change, such as a drop in grades or lost interest in attending school or extracurricular activities.

Help is available for your child or teen.

LSSI Social Workers and Counselors provide support to students in over 100 different Chicago Public Schools. Our staff work closely with teachers, guardians, primary care physicians, and other therapists to provide the best support to the child/teen possible during school hours. Services are offered in English and Spanish.
