LSSI Sunday
About LSSI Sunday
LSSI Sunday is an opportunity for your congregation to learn about Lutheran Social Services of Illinois (LSSI) programs and the impact of your church’s support of and partnership with LSSI. An LSSI Sunday is intended to be celebrated on any Sunday of the year outside of the Easter season. During the Easter season, we invite congregations to celebrate Good Shepherd Sunday.
To celebrate an LSSI Sunday, a church might lift up LSSI programs and stories during their worship service, sermon, temple talk, and/or announcement time. This will look different at every church. We have provided downloadable LSSI Sunday resources to help you plan and customize your event. These resources will be helpful to both Lutheran and non-Lutheran groups.
Resources include sermon videos, worship ideas to help you plan your service, handouts, bulletin inserts, and more! Fill out the form below and you will receive the password to access these free resources. Thank you for celebrating your partnership with LSSI!
