Lutheran Social Services of Illinois (LSSI) has been featured in Crain’s Chicago Business Giving Guide, which highlighted 35 of the region’s top local nonprofit organizations.
Crain’s Chicago Business is the region’s leading business publication, reaching more than 100,000 readers through its combined print and digital platforms.
The annual Giving Guide spotlights nonprofit missions, showcases new and innovative programs, promotes upcoming fundraising events, and invites Crain’s readers to get involved with causes that strengthen communities.
The guide reaches a highly engaged and philanthropic audience, with nearly half donating $1,000 or more to nonprofit organizations last year. In addition, 85% of readers reported engaging with a nonprofit organization in 2025.
This marks LSSI’s second year participating in the Giving Guide, an opportunity to expand awareness of the organization’s life-changing work among a wide, influential audience.
“In many cases, the Giving Guide introduces us to a new audience,” said David Novak, JD, LSSI’s Chief Advancement Officer. “We are always eager to build awareness in order to increase support for our mission and serve more people across Illinois.”
