Foster Fair – Dixon

Foster Fair is a Statewide Event Raising Awareness for Foster Care! Join Lutheran Social Services of Illinois (LSSI) at nine community locations statewide on June 18, 21 or 22, including June 21 in Dixon, for fun, family activities. Meet LSSI staff and learn about becoming a foster parent or supporting children in foster care. Meet other local organizations assisting kids and families. Refreshments will be served. Games and giveaways! Touch a Truck, dunk tank, face-painting! Attendees can also purchase food from participating food trucks and vendors.

Activities, organizations and food trucks include: Believe in the Children, Braden Counseling, CASA, Com Ed, Discover Dixon, Early Childhood Intervention, Kona Ice, La Cocina De Irene, LSSI Prevention and Behavioral Health, Ogle County Health Department, Raising Hope, Rock River Disc Golf, Ruby’s Coffee Coach, Shining Star, and Sweet Butts Cotton Candy.
