Foster Fair – Dixon

Foster Fair is a Statewide Event Raising Awareness for Foster Care! Join Lutheran Social Services of Illinois (LSSI) at nine community locations statewide on June 18, 21 or 22, including June 21 in Dixon, for fun, family activities. Meet LSSI staff and learn about becoming a foster parent or supporting children in foster care. Meet other local organizations assisting kids and families. Refreshments will be served. Games and giveaways!

Join us in Dixon for activities and special guests that include: Touch a Truck- Semi and Dixon Police Car; Woodlawn Arts Academy  “Matilda Jr.” performance (15 minutes); information tables from LSSI programs (Foster Care, Project LEAD, and Youth WORKS); Ogle County Health Dept.; face painting; games; and MORE!  Attendees can also purchase food from participating food trucks.
