Shore Line Place
Shore Line Place offers 32 one-bedroom apartments and 11 studio apartments, with a dedicated percentage designed especially for individuals who require the features of a barrier-free unit. The facility opened in 2000.
Residents must be 62 years or older and adults 18 years or older with a disability, as defined by the tenant selection policy sponsored by Lutheran Social Services of Illinois (LSSI) and funded through the U.S. Department for Housing and Urban Development (HUD) Section 8, 202 Program as well as meet specific income guidelines set by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). Rent is based on 30% of the resident’s adjusted annual income. Each one-bedroom apartment can accommodate one or two people.
