There are many ways to support LSSI programs and our clients during the holidays! The winter months bring many additional challenges to the families we serve. Whether you make a donation toward gifts and other needs, or purchase a gift from a wish list, you are bringing hope and holiday cheer to a child and their loved ones. In-kind Giving
In-kind needs at our programs are ever evolving. To keep up with this demand, we have a website that allows for friends to see location specific needs in real time. During the holidays this includes gifts from children’s wish lists.
LSSI’s Mindful Giving page syncs with Amazon and items on the list are tax-exempt and offer free shipping, if available. Once a purchase is made, the item(s) are shipped directly to the program. Click here to learn more.
Fundraise for Project Room at the Inn
The goal of Project Room at the Inn is to raise $50,000 to provide a Christmas gift for each of the 2,500 children served by our programs. You can fundraise for this important cause by creating a page as an individual, school group, church, or volunteer group. Click here to view our fundraising campaign and learn more. Select “Start Fundraising” to get started. Donations to Project Room at the Inn will provide Christmas gifts to a child who may otherwise go without, as well as meet some of the most critical needs that arise for children and families during the holiday season, depending on each child’s unique situation. Our program staff works closely with the families to ensure that each child has a Christmas gift and to identify sudden and urgent needs such as a warm winter coat or a car seat.
