Making a Difference: Foster Parents Share their Stories

In celebration of May being National Foster Care Month, several Rockford-area foster parents will share their experiences in a panel discussion. Join Lutheran Social Services of Illinois (LSSI) for this in-depth and personal panel discussion around the critical work foster parents do in our community and the difference it makes in the lives of the children and youth who live in the Rockford area. Learn how you can support foster families and meet LSSI foster care staff who can answer questions about becoming a licensed foster parent.
The event is free and open to the public at the Nordlof Center-Rockford Public Library, 118 N. Main Street, Rockford.
