Free Movie and Potluck

Join Lutheran Social Services of Illinois (LSSI) and Salem Lutheran Church, Moline, for a free potluck and movie showing of The Sound of Hope: The Story of Possum Trot. This movie is inspired by a true story of Rev. Matin and his wife Donna who embraced kids in the foster care system and mobilized their church to become foster parents to 77 children. Come be inspired and learn about becoming a foster parent through LSSI or how to support kids in foster care. RSVP so we can plan for enough food to accommodate everyone. Potluck from 11:15 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. Movie at 12:30 p.m.
