Giving a child a caring home is a deeply rewarding and fulfilling experience. A foster parent’s love and support provides children with benefits that last a lifetime.

To apply to be a foster parent:

• Request current information about the process from LSSI. Our staff will get to know you and help guide you through the foster parent application process.
• Complete an application packet which includes forms, a health physical, and so on.
• Participate in our PRIDE (Parent Resources for Information, Development, and Education) pre-training and any other training required by the state of Illinois and LSSI.
• Complete home study interviews and pass a home inspection.
