Pumpkin Pie Fun Run: Baking the World a Butter Place

Kick-start your holiday season with LSSI’s Third Annual Pumpkin Pie Fun Run: Baking the World a Butter Place! Choose your own challenge for this virtual event, and complete a 1k, 5k, or 10k anytime and anywhere between November 23 and December 1. Run, walk, hike, bike, or even snowshoe: how you get to the finish line is up to you! Whether you complete your race individually on your favorite trail, on a treadmill, or with a group of friends, your participation will help raise awareness and support for LSSI programs, including for foster care, mental health services, addiction recovery, residential homes for adults with developmental disabilities, and more! 

Regular registration is $60, or register as a fundraiser for free and commit to fundraising $250. All participants who complete the required steps will receive an event T-shirt. 

Distance options: 1k/5k/10k 

Race day: You decide! Complete your race anytime between November 23 and December 1. You can even break up the distance across multiple days if that works best for you. 

Location: Anywhere! Create your own course and complete your race on your own, with friends, or as a family. 

Reporting deadline: December 1. A link will be provided in your welcome email when you register. 

Prizes: One racer drawn at random from each distance category will win a $50 gift card. Registrants must submit their race results by December 1 to be entered to win. 

An additional $50 gift-card winner will be selected at random from those who submit a photo. Your welcome email will include details on how to submit your photo.

You will receive a welcome email with a digital tool kit, including the form to report your race time, information about how to create your personal fundraising page, and links to join our online community and interact with other racers. Fundraising is encouraged for all participants but only required of those who choose “Fundraising Registration” from the provided registration options.
