Status of Programs During COVID-19 Pandemic

We are Open! The Status of LSSI Behavioral Health Programs

LSSI strives to be a reliable and consistent partner in serving the community during these unprecedented times. In an effort to keep our clients and staff safe, we have made some changes to our Behavioral Health Programs.

Our programs are still open and providing services virtually, over the phone, or in the community through social distancing.

Below, we have provided the status of our programs in an attempt to maintain community access to needed behavioral health treatment:

Medical Detox – New Intakes Are Temporarily On-Hold
  • We are temporarily suspending new intakes for our Medical Detox program but we will be re-opening soon. 
Residential Rehab - Accepting New Intakes, Operating Under CDC Guidelines

Clients will need either COVID-19 negative test results before admission or isolate until a negative test is obtained. To schedule an intake, please call LSSI's Central Intake at 833.610.LSSI (5774)833.610.LSSI (5774).

Recovery Homes – Accepting New Intakes, Beds Available, Operating Under CDC Guidelines

Clients must have negative COVID-19 test results (or isolate until a negative test is obtained) and a current TB test.

Crisis Services – Accepting New Referrals, Operating Under CDC Guidelines

If you know of someone in crisis, please call 773.878.8200 ext. 5045 or 5064773.878.8200 ext. 5045 or 5064. You can also call the Cares Line at 800.345.9049800.345.9049.

  • Mobile Crisis/SASS will prescreen clients (adults and children) for symptoms, and staff will follow CDC guidelines on social distancing and infection control precautions.
All Project IMPACT locations are Open and Operating Under CDC Guidelines.

  • Intakes will be performed over the phone with client consent. Services will be limited and may be provided over the phone.
