Project IMPACT

When someone experiences a psychological crisis or other serious mental health concern, the stress of that crisis makes it difficult to figure out what type of help they need. There is help. Project IMPACT (Inter Multi-Disciplinary Prescreening Assessment and Crisis Team) is a crisis intervention service that provides assessment and referral to anyone with a mental health or substance use condition.

Project IMPACT screens, assesses, and refers for:

  • Psychiatric hospitalization
  • Outpatient counseling
  • Alcohol and drug treatment
  • Domestic violence treatment and emergency treatment
  • Detoxification programs
  • Crisis housing and shelters for the homeless

Project IMPACT is open 24 hours a day, every day of the year and is staffed by trained crisis intervention specialists. Someone is always available to talk.
