Services for Adults
Welcoming Center
- A walk-in mental health clinic offering crisis services, counseling, and psychiatry located on the campus of Swedish Covenant Hospital
Project IMPACT
- A 24/7 mental health crisis program located in five hospital emergency rooms on Chicago's north side. Walk-ins are welcome
Mobile Mental Health Crisis Team
- LSSI's Mobile Crisis Team travels to adults who are experiencing a mental health and substance abuse crisis on the north/northwest sides of Chicago
Counseling and Therapy Services
- Individual, couples, and family counseling for adults located at LSSI's Portage Cragin Counseling Center on Chicago's northwest side
Case Management
- Case managers link clients to services such as healthcare, food, housing, and reduced fee programs, in order to stay active, healthy, and independent
Community Support Teams
- A team assists clients with a mental health diagnosis, who are living in the community that need extra help remaining stable and independent through a wide range of services
Journeys – Group Therapy and Skill Building
- Assisting individuals to build life and social skills through groups, real-life situations, and individual consultation
Mental Health Group Homes
- Three Mental Health Group Homes on the northwest side of Chicago for adults who struggle with mental illness but have goals of living independently
Services for Children and Adolescents
Counseling and Therapy Services
- Individual and family counseling for kids/teens located at LSSI's Portage Cragin Counseling Center on Chicago’s northwest side
Mobile Mental Health Crisis Team for Kids and Teens
- Crisis Workers travel to kids and teens in the community who are experiencing a mental health crisis
Step-Up School-Based Counseling
- In-school counseling and support for students and their families, that is on-site in Chicago Public Schools
