A Pilot Program for Therapeutic Foster Care is Helping Children with Severe Emotional/Behavioral Needs in Aurora, Chicago & Rockford

Therapeutic Foster Care is a pilot program of the Illinois Department of Children and Family Services designed to help children with severe emotional and behavioral needs find success in foster homes rather than be placed in group facilities. LSSI was chosen as a pilot organization to administer the program at three locations—Aurora, Chicago, and Rockford. This WREX news story highlights the Rockford program.
