LSSI is grateful to the following foundations for their generous grants that support a variety of programs across Illinois.
Russell and Josephine Kott Memorial Charitable Trust presented LSSI’s Intouch Chicago South Home Care with a generous grant of $100,000. Intouch Chicago South is a critical program for 250 low-income older adults and their families. Through Intouch, seniors receive non-medical home care services. The Russell and Josephine Kott Memorial Charitable Trust provides funding to support a range of charitable organizations that improve the lives of individuals with an emphasis on gerontology.
LSSI was awarded a $7,500 grant from the Sage Foundation to support LSSI’s continuum of services for people with developmental or behavioral issues, including counseling and psychiatric treatment for individuals struggling with substance or behavioral issues, and programs that maximize each individual’s potential for independence for adults with developmental disabilities. Based in Brighton, Michigan, the Sage Foundation’s grant-making priorities include “health and social services.”
