Make a Contribution to LSSI Today!
Thank you for considering making a gift to Lutheran Social Services of Illinois (LSSI) and becoming a partner in our work. Every day across the state of Illinois, LSSI helps provide children with loving homes, helps senior citizens live independently, connects families separated by incarceration, and helps people with addictions move toward recovery. These are just a few of the ways LSSI reaches out to people in need. We are faithful to our mission: Responding to the Gospel, LSSI brings healing, justice and wholeness to individuals and families.
LSSI is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization; all contributions are tax-deductible according to the law.

Gifts of Securities
Many donors choose to make gifts of appreciated stock, bonds or mutual funds to qualified nonprofit organizations like LSSI. Such gifts may result in substantial tax benefits in the form of charitable deductions and avoidance of capital gains taxes. Your broker can assist you in making a gift of securities via a direct transfer to LSSI’s account. Stock certificates can also be donated.
Please e-mail Maryann.Aimone@LSSI.org or call her at 847/635-4671, or e-mail Peggie Imhauser or call her at 847/635-4678 with questions or for assistance in making gifts of securities via direct transfer or paper certificates.
Also known as planned gifts, legacy gifts include those made through your will, charitable gift annuities, charitable trusts, gifts of life insurance, gifts from bank or investments accounts, and gifts of retirement plans. These gifts require thoughtful and deliberate planning. The Cornerstone Foundation was created to receive legacy gifts to Lutheran Social Services of Illinois. Funds held by the Foundation provide financial support for current LSSI programs and continued support for future years.
Foundation and Corporate Partners are vital to our mission, helping us bring healing justice and wholeness to children and adults across the state. For more information, please e-mail Cindy Tyler or call her at 847/635-4645.
