Throughout the year, Lutheran Social Services of Illinois (LSSI) receives assistance from generous friends to provide both necessities and special gifts for people served in LSSI programs. Following are descriptions of annual gift drives and areas of ongoing need.

2013 LSSI Gifts In-Kind Drives

February 1 – March 15
Easter Baskets
For: Head Start students, foster care families and children of clients at the Portage Cragin Counseling Center

Backpacks and school supplies
For: Children in LSSI's foster care, Intact Families, Head Start and Behavior Health Services program, which are distributed at an Expo held the first week in August

We welcome $25 gift cards from Target and WalMart.
