Substance Abuse Residential Extended Aftercare
Lutheran Social Services of Illinois (LSSI) offers two types of residential aftercare arrangements for men and women who are seeking to maintain sobriety.
- Halfway house/extended aftercare provides a residential program that helps men and women maintain their sobriety and continue to receive limited treatment while transitioning to their communities. This program is available at three sites in Chicago and one in Elgin.
- Sober Living Facilities provide a less structured environment where people in recovery can live in support of each other and be assured of a sober environment. This program is available at two sites in Chicago.
