Lutheran Social Services of Illinois (LSSI) operates three group homes in Chicago for adults with a significant level of mental illness. The group homes offer support, structure and consistency to enable residents to successfully integrate into the community. Staff work with residents to help them develop skills to cope with, and eventually, recover from their mental illness. Recovery means the attainment of residents’ potential for community involvement, personal growth, independence and self-sufficiency based on their needs and preferences as individuals.

These homes are:

• Belle Plaine Group Home
• Hutchinson Group Home
• Keystone Group Home

The group homes are licensed and certified by the Illinois Department of Human Services/Department of Mental Health and the Illinois Department of Health and Family Services.
