Assisted/Supportive Living Apartments
Lutheran Social Services of Illinois (LSSI) offers assisted and supportive living at three of its Housing sites: P.A. Peterson Center for Health and the Luther Center in Rockford, and Joshua Arms Senior Housing in Joliet.
- Joshua Arms in Joliet offers 56 Supportive Living apartments for seniors 65 years old and older. These units have a refrigerator/microwave unit, mini blinds, carpeting, emergency pull cords and a daily check-in system. Supportive Living services include laundry and housekeeping, medication reminders, personal care assistance and three meals daily.
- The Luther Center in Rockford offers 29 apartments for assisted living residents. Amenities include frost-free refrigerator, air conditioning, electric stove and mini blinds. In addition, residents of the assisted living units receive three meals a day, housekeeping and laundry once a week, medication reminders and an emergency pendant.
- P.A. Peterson Center for Health in Rockford also offers several private rooms or suites with private baths in a pleasant and inviting area for people who require some support to live independently. Supportive care includes all meals, medication administration, assistance with bathing and other personal care.
