Planned Giving
Do you want to make a difference in the lives of others? Perhaps you would like to consider making a planned gift to Lutheran Social Services of Illinois (LSSI) in your will.
LSSI has a long, faithful history of serving people. We have been called to respond with compassion to the needs of our neighbors, and it is only with your help that we can continue to assist the many individuals and families throughout Illinois who come to us for care and services. A planned gift is a way to create a lasting legacy and help you meet your financial and charitable goals.
What are planned gifts?
A planned gift is just what it sounds like: a gift from your estate that takes some thoughtful and deliberate planning. Planned gifts include gifts through your will, charitable gift annuities, charitable trusts, gifts of life insurance and gifts of retirement plans.
What is the Cornerstone Society?
Inaugurated in 1989, The Cornerstone Society is made up of individuals and families who, through thoughtful and generous planning, help to ensure that future generations of Illinoisans will continue to receive the services they need from Lutheran Social Services of Illinois.
The Cornerstone Society gives LSSI an opportunity to recognize and thank individuals and families who have made a planned gift. Membership in the Society is open to all who notify LSSI that a planned gift has been made and to those who make leadership gifts to the Cornerstone Foundation.
Please contact the Planned Giving Department 847/390-1464 or e-mail Susan.Gilpin@LSSI.com for more information about membership in the Cornerstone Society and to learn more about the benefits of leaving a legacy to LSSI.
