Lutheran Social Services of Illinois (LSSI) provides mental health services for individuals and families living in the following Chicago neighborhoods: Belmont-Cragin, Dunning, Edison Park, Hermosa, Jefferson Park, Montclare, Norwood Park, O’Hare and Portage Park. Services, which are offered in English and Spanish, are certified and funded by the Department of Human Services’ Department of Mental Health.

LSSI accepts Medicare, Medicaid and All-Kids insurances that are not managed by a managed care organization. LSSI also offers a sliding scale of fees based on income and family size.

LSSI’s services include:

• Outpatient Counseling, Psychiatric Evaluation & Medication Monitoring for individuals living with mental illness at two Chicago locations.
• Case Management services – short- and long-term for persons with mental illness are offered at two northwest Chicago locations. Services include supportive services around funding, mental health treatment.
